Currently I don't have the need for a large cabinet incubator/hatcher and I have found the smaller table-top incubators and hatchers to work fine for my situation.  I use an older Marsh still air Turn-X incubator a Brinsea Octagon 20 incubator.  Pictured is a Brinsea Hatcher that I use.  Depending on what I am hatching, after incubating, eggs are placed in the hatcher about 2-3 days before they are due to hatch.

After the ducklings are dry, they are taken from the hatcher and put in these small brooders.  They are made from 90 qt. totes.  Lid has two large holes cut and wire attached.  A frame with wire sets on the bottom and shavings are under the wire to soak up water that is spilled.  On top of the wire is placed no-slide drawer liner to protect the ducklings feet and legs.  The liner comes in a roll in different widths and can be removed and easily washed.  Water is placed at one end with food at the other.  Heat lamp is used to provide heat when needed.

Another larger brooder I built using the "Keller brooder" as a reference found in the Call Duck Breeder Book.  Overall demensions of the box are 6' X 3' X 2' high.  The frame it sets on contains the flooring and brings the overall height to 52".  It has three sections each with its own double socket bulb for heat.  Top hinges on both sides with heat shield on the bulb side.  Inside each section one end has 3.5 inches deep of bedding, other end is covered with wire.  A 28 qt. tote sets under each wired section to catch water, food and  droppings.  Totes slide out from front are washed out and replaced as needed.

Each section has its own catch tray located under the wire.
