Call ducks are small, easy to raise, not requiring the space or feed needed by most other domestic waterfowl. They are one of the most popular ducks exhibited at poultry/waterfowl shows…..and yes, loud. When separated from others or excited they can really let everyone know they are around. They are playful, can become quite friendly and are available in a wide range of colors. I currently raise white and pastel. Housing, feed and water needs can be found in the links below.

White Call drake (male) on the left, Pastel Call duck (female) to the right

Pastel Call pair in raised pen to the left and newborn White Call ducklings having their supervised swim
Pastel Call drake with Pastel duck in the background and a pet quality Grey Call drake on the right

Winter housing until pairs and trios are seperated and put into raised pens for breeding season
