I would encourage anyone interested in purchasing waterfowl or any animal to take the time to research what they are interested in. Proper planning of care and shelter should be done before purchasing not after. Remember that both Call & East Indie ducks (females) can be loud.

Raising some species of bantam waterfowl and maintaining an aviary is a hobby, interest and enjoyment of mine. Giffsfarm is not a hatchery or business. I don't raise large numbers of birds but maintain a quality, healthy stock. My original birds came from some of the top breeders of both domestic and wild waterfowl. The birds are raised around kids and are not aggressive.

I don't take any pre-orders at this time......sorry. When I have adult birds or Call/BEI hatching eggs available I will post the information in this section along with the price. All birds will be full winged unless noted. Both Greenwing Teal and Wood ducks will include the Federal transfer papers.

Local pickup is always encouraged as it is the safest way for the transfer of birds between both buyer and the seller. I always have free boxes on hand made up for those picking up birds in case you do not have a container available.

When shipping is necessary it is done at the buyers risk. USPS does not insure Express Mail deliveries of live birds or of Priority delivery of hatching eggs. I will take every precaution I can to insure a safe delivery to you but I will not be held responsible over that which I have no control. Shipping lives to most areas has improved and most shipments now take one to two days. Any surcharge issued by USPS will be included in the shipping cost. All shipping will be done on Mondays and Tuesdays and seasonal temperatures from both the buyers and sellers location are a factor on shipping. Standard box charge for one or two birds will be $9. I accept either money order or check as payment. Birds will only be shipped after payment is received.

I had some mousepads made up featuring a Green-winged Teal drake photo I had taken. The pad is 9" wide by 7.5" high. The photo surface is a heat resistant polyester fabric backed with non-slip neoprene rubber. I have these available for $7.50 total.
