Permits (Migratory list - partial)

When I first got interested in the wild waterfowl, I was supprised at how many are listed as protected birds.  There are alot of shows, auctions and breeders who carry wild waterfowl for sale.  The complete list of all birds protected under the Federal Migratory Bird Act is much longer than this but I have listed what would be of interest to those looking to purchase wild waterfowl.  Not only does the FWS require permits but your local State DEC may have requirements also.  First column is the common name followed by it's scientific name.
